Our team combines deep technical expertise with practical, on-the-ground implementation experience, having supported governments, multilateral institutions, and private sector stakeholders across diverse geographic and institutional contexts. Our experts have contributed to the design and delivery of complex, multi-country programmes, including climate finance readiness initiatives, industrial decarbonization strategies, eco-industrial development, and large-scale sustainability policy frameworks.
Sandeep Pahal is the Founder and Managing Director of puREsource partners, bringing over 15 years of international experience in cleantech and sustainability consulting across the public and private sectors. Sandeep founded puREsource in Paris in 2019 after leading advisory practices at Ernst & Young and Deloitte, where he built deep expertise in climate finance, circular economy policy, energy efficiency, and industrial decarbonisation.
Sandeep has delivered high-impact assignments for multilateral institutions and development organisations, including UNIDO, the Green Climate Fund, the World Bank Group, the African Development Bank, AFD, IFC, and the European Commission, across more than 30 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
His work spans the full spectrum of climate and sustainability advisory, from structuring GCF readiness proposals and developing bankable project pipelines to conducting independent programme evaluations. He has deep expertise in industrial decarbonisation, and sustainable energy systems, and has extensive expertise in circular economy policies and eco-industrial parks. Sandeep has advised development finance institutions on climate finance strategy, supporting the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, the IDFC Climate Facility, and developed a business plan for the SADC Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, and has worked on green and clean hydrogen market assessments spanning eleven developing countries.
